Moses Going Sr (c 1742 - 1821)

Moses Going Sr, Monacan / Saponi (Eastern Sioux), b. ca 1742 Monacan Territory / Louisa VA d. aft 1821 ?GA was the "illegitimate" (according to colonial records) son of Agnes Going b. ca 1725 ?Henrico VA and unknown. However, it is likely his father [*] as well as his mother were Native American and his parents were married according to Native American traditions but such a marriage was not recognised by colonial authorities.

Moses married by 1762 Louisa VA his first cousin Agnes Agatha "Aggie" Going, the daughter of Elizabeth "Mulatto" (Native American) and David Going Sr.
